On behalf of a large international company we are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic ServiceNow Platform Service Manager to join their IT team based in Amsterdam. Our client is the leading provider of building materials solutions in both North America and in Europe and includes some of the most sustainable and cutting-edge building projects around the world.

The role:
We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic ServiceNow Platform Service Manager to join the IT team based in Amsterdam. The role will provide high quality operational and technical support for the ServiceNow Platform. It will ensure that the ServiceNow platform is maintained up to date and leverage as much as possible the use of the standards within the platform and minimize custom development. It will work closely with other workstream leads to define, develop, implement and embed support processes. It will also work closely with the Integration Manager and other leads of Operations team to maximise the integration with other components and enhance the automation of processes and develop and promote the user Self Service approach.

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive the outsourced practice to deliver effective and efficient services including ongoing training and knowledge transfer.
  • Optimize the organisation's, processes and tools required for service delivery. Monitor processes and procedures to ensure they are being executed in a consistent and repeatable manner.
  • Monitor Catalog Items usage and take actions to keep it accurate and meaningful.
  • Maintain the product up to date coordinating a yearly upgrad.
  • Manage the demands portfolio relative to the solution (assess, evaluate, prioritize, coordinate).
  • Define the content of development cycles based on priorities.
  • Validate the recharge of the requests to the business in accordance with Finance & Controlling.
  • Keep up to date with ServiceNow innovations and assess for implementation on our ServiceNow Roadmap.
  • Create a clear development roadmap for the year ahead broken down by quarter.
  • Develop further the automation and integration of the platform with other tools.


Qualifications required

Experience & qualifications / To be successful in this role you'll need:
Deep experience in PaaS Management and a good understanding of IT and business processes
Excellent knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and capabilities
Demonstrable experience in workshop design, preparation and leadership
An excellent working knowledge of ITIL
A focus on integration & standardization (challenging the non standard requests)
Developed supplier management and financial management experience

Education / experience:

  • Degree level or other relevant education.
  • 10+ years in ServiceNow. Desirable: ServiceNOW Certification / AGILE DevOps
  • Experience in PaaS management role
  • Experience in technical solution design of IT and/or business processes
  • Language: English (fluent) Desirable: Second European language (preferred)
